What is Aeroponics?
Aeroponics is an innovative method of plant cultivation where roots grow in a nutrient mist-enriched air environment instead of in soil. This automatable cultivation technique allows your plants to grow faster and achieve an additional harvest per year.
Aero Grow 19 Version 1: with plant ring in the lid
The 1st pot version of Aero Grow 19 is specifically designed for use with aeroponically grown cuttings and seedlings, for example, from the X-Streamer by Nutriculture. This not only saves you time but also effort that you would otherwise spend transplanting with soil. The 3-liter capacity of the Aero Grow 19 pot also provides ample space for healthy plant growth.
Note from Aeroponic Systems: It is recommended to operate the Aerocloner without mesh pots, only with the plant ring.

Aero Grow 19 Version 2: without plant ring in the lid
The 2nd pot version of Aero Grow 19 is specifically designed for use with cuttings and seedlings grown in rockwool or Eazy Plugs and is supplied without a neoprene ring. Pre-cultivated cuttings/seedlings or plants sourced from your trusted dealer can be placed directly into the Aero Grow 19. This saves you a lot of time and effort that you would otherwise spend transplanting with soil. The 3-liter capacity of the Aero Grow 19 pot also provides ample space for healthy plant growth.

What is the difference between Version 1 (V1) and Version 2 (V2) of the "Aero Grow 19"?
The two versions of the aeroponic pot differ in terms of the neoprene ring in the lid. The Version 1 (V1) comes with a neoprene ring, and the Version 2 (V2) does not have a plant ring in the lid. These two versions offer different planting options and benefits for various applications.
Version 1 (V1) with plant ring in the lid
The first version, V1, features a plant ring in the lid of the planting container. This ring allows plants to be held securely and stably in the container. We recommend this version if hydroponic pre-cultivation without substrate, for example, in the X-Stream or HydroCloner is preferred.
Version 2 (V2) - without plant ring in the lid
In contrast to the first version, the second version, V2, does not have a plant ring in the lid. This makes this version more flexible in terms of how plants can be placed into the container. If cuttings or seedlings are grown directly in the substrate, we recommend the Aero Grow 19 V2, as the starter cube can also be placed in it.
(a) GRODAN rockwool cubes: These rockwool cubes are a popular substrate for plant propagation. They provide excellent water and air permeability and enable optimal root growth. However, due to their poor biodegradability, we advise against using rockwool.
(b) EAZY PLUG or ROOT RIOT starter cubes: EAZY PLUGS and ROOT RIOT consist of organic, biodegradable substrate made from coconut fibers and peat moss, respectively. They are particularly suitable for the propagation of seedlings and cuttings and promote rapid and healthy root development.
